The west conjures up images of watching westerns with John Wayne or Gary Cooper and fights between the cavalry and indians. The real west brought us some great heros and villains. The truth is sometimes stranger than the fiction we were fed by hollywood. I will cover some of the most famous figures and places from that golden era.
